A large 9" pair of Royal presentation stork scissors the body engraved o/a as plumage the oval finger grips with fluted borders, the internal surfaces engraved with crowned monogram of Princess Alexandra and Xmas 1870 in cartouche, 1870 was the completion date of their Sandringham home, the scissors bear the distinctive "A" monogram of Princess Alexandra, wife of Edward Prince of Wales later to become King Edward V11, fitting into a red morocco mount with gilt border G++
