Paul McCobb Predictor Group armchair, by O`Hearn, 1950s, maple, spindled backrest, upholstered seat, unsigned, 24"w x 28"d x 33"h, excellent original condition No holes or tears. The seat is a vinyl fabric that looks like silk. No chips or cracks. Light surface scratches, scuffs and abrasions. Light wear consistent with age and use over time. One arm has been reglued where it was separating from the frame. Chair is now sturdy and structurally sound (the repair is not visible and there was no breakage).

A George III Silver Twin-Handled Trophy Cup, Henry Chawner, London 1790, the plain tapering body with a fluted rim over a bright cut border, the centre of each side engraved with a jockey on a racehorse, with twin strap handles, inscribed to the base Presented to John Smorthit by Admiral O V Harcourt, 18cm high, 10oz 3dwt Admiral Octavius Vernon Harcourt (1793-1863), son of Edward Venables-Vernon-Harcourt, Archbishop of York. He was well known upon the turf in association with Ellerdale, Ellington & Gildermire racecourses. He bred a mare named Ellerdale, whom produced Ellington, winner of the 1859 Derby. A well known philanthropist, he paid for the construction of St Paul`s Church at Healey near Masham, and also built six almshouses in Masham. Generally good condition.
