DC Comics Plastic Man Numbers 1 & 7: No 1 November-December 1966 and No 7 November-December 1967. (US 12c Price) Plastic Man (real name Patrick “Eel” O’Brian) is a fictional comic-book superhero originally published by Quality Comics and later acquired by DC Comics. Created by writer-artist Jack Cole, he first appeared in Police Comics 1 (August 1941).
A Japanese Kaga Kutani Rakan, c.1800, the figure modelled with laughing face, carefully picked out in colour, holding a bell and a gnarled staff, with ho-o, lotus, clouds and gilt karakusa on an iron-red ground, 34cm CONDITION REPORT: 3 cm firing crack on the right arm, slight wear to gilding.

Naval LS & GC (3): Geo V Admirals bust (286566 W O Powell Sto PO, HMS Bulwark) GVF; Geo V coinage head (M26756 K F Finley ERA 1, HMS Cornwall) VF; Geo VI first type (K65304 A E Board, Sto 1, HMS Whitehall) EF (3) Note: William Oliver Powell, killed on board, 26.11.1914 and commemorated at Portsmouth Naval Memorial. Sir Winston Churchill addressed the House of Commons that afternoon and delivered the news that HMS Bulwark, moored at Sheerness, blew up at 7.35am. The cause was thought to have been an internal magazine explosion, 12 members of the crew were believed to be the only survivors.

Vintage signed postcard photograph, an unusually glamorous image of La Divine standing in a three quarter length pose holding two tennis rackets. Signed in bold green fountain pen ink with her name alone across a clear area of the image. A couple of extremely minor, small smudges just affect two letters o the signature. VG

A late Victorian 15ct gold garnet and seed pearl dress ring - The cushion-shape garnets with seed pearl spacers to the scroll gallery and decorative band - Hallmarked Birmingham 1872 - Ring size O - Weight approx 2.0gms. Condition Report: Good to fair - With light surface scratches in keeping with age and wear - One seed pearl deficient - Small nicks to garnets.
