A 19th century 18ct yellow gold and enamel decorated mourning ring, the raised oval platform with blue enamel border centred with a floral spray with traces of enamelling to the scrolling shoulders, size N/O, approx 2.8g. CONDITION REPORT: There is heavy wear to the blue enamelling of the central panel and the majority of the enamelling from th scroll work has gone, the back of the ring possibly originally had a cover leaving a compartment for a lock of hair.
