An unusual single stone diamond 'photograph' ring, set in yellow and white metal, the flat bottom diamond with faceted girdle, set beneath with a photograph of a gentleman, the plain shank with hinged gold locket compartment to verso, the diamond approx 8mm x 7mm, the ring approx size O, approx 4.4g, together with a report from Nederlandsh Instituut voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek van Edelsteenen en Paarlen ststing the diamond to be 1.317ct. and dated 1943. CONDITION REPORT: Good condition, a number of small scratched to hinged cover at back.

London Transport enamel bus stop E-PLATE 'O. R. T. DOWNE BIGGIN HILL' from the un-numbered route between Orpington and Biggin Hill run under LT licence by Orpington Rural Transport Association between 1963-75, later route 858 and now covered by the R2 & R8. A very scarce example indeed, perhaps one of a pair only and likely to have been located in Orpington. [1]
London Underground ENAMEL DESTINATION PLATE from an O/P/Q-stock car reading 'District' on one side and 'Metropolitan' on the other. Thought to date from the late-1930s, this sign was a swivel-plate for the lower position in the destination indicator. In well-used but very reasonable ex-car condition. [1]
