The entries begin on 7 / 12 / 39 and run through training, including a forced landing at Exeter, operations including raids on the docks at Kiel, Bremen and Wilhelmshaven, a crash landing at base in March 1941. The entries conclude on 2 / 9 / 1941 'Missing from Air Operations, Turin'. Together with the logbook is a Wartime log - also named to W/O Oldman, which lists him as Prisoner of War no. 9539 and Prisoner of War Camps Stalag Luft 3, 6 and 357. The rear of the log features a handwritten account of his recapture by British Forces. A very interesting logbook, worthy of additional research
