A Georg Jensen 18ct white gold and diamond 'Magic' ring together with another diamond ring by Quinn, the Georg Jensen ring designed as a uniform half-hoop band rubover set to the front with nine round brilliant cut diamonds, stamped with Georg Jensen logo, also '750' and with common control mark for 18ct gold, size N total estimated weight of diamonds 0.50cts; the second ring a broad uniform band of hallmarked silver with a single round brilliant cut diamond rubover set in the middle, Edinburgh import hallmarks 1998, also stamped '925' and '00 4ct' (indicating that the diamond weighs 0.04cts), and signed 'Quinn', size O½ (2)
A WARTIME SILVER SALVER AFS-NFS SERVICE. A heavy Silver Octagonal Salver with presentation inscription and signatures, for Fire Services during the Second World War period . AFS-NFS 1938-1944, Presented to Col O Harold George, From all the Part Time Personnel of 'D' Division No 1 Fire Force, as a token of Esteem and Appreciation of Services Rendered. 14 engraved signatures of those who served are on the salver, which has Sheffield Hall Marks for 1935. It is believed that Harold George was from the South Shields area.
AN R A M C GROUP OF FOUR MEDALS. A Queens South Africa Medal with bars Natal and Transvaal, named to 12775 Pte H C Prett RAMC. British War & Victory Medals named to 12775 W O Cl 1 H C Prett RAMC. George V Long Service Good Conduct Medal named to 12775 S Sjt H C Prett RAMC. Herbert Charles Prett enlisted in 1899, serving in the South African War (Medal with two clasps) He was also awarded the Kings South Africa Medal with two clasps. He is entitled to a 1914 Star serving in France from 10/8/1914. Details from Southampton Roll in the Gt War. He enlisted in 1899 and served through the South African Campaign. On the outbreak of war in August 1914 he was sent to the Western Front. There he took an active part in important engagements on various sectors and rendered valuable services until the cessation of hostilities. Still with the RAMC as a S-Major in 1920, his address was 15 Peterborough Rd, Southampton. He later served with His Majestys Custom & Excise as a Waterguard Officer. He died in 1951. A 3rd DRAGOON GUARDS (RAC) GROUP OF THREE. An unnamed Oman General Service Medal in gilt bronze with Dhofar bar, unnamed as issued. A Campaign Service Medal named to Major C J O Phillips. 3rd DG with South Arabia bar. These two mounted for wear, also an Accession Medal C1970. Both awards have the crossed swords and sheathed Khanjar obverse and Dhofar Hills reverse. Sultan Qaboos bid Said above Sultan of Oman obverse legends. Christopher John Owen Phillips was born in London in 1930. 2/Lt 3rd Dragoon Guards 22/7/1950. Lt 22/7/1952. Captain 22/7/1956. Major 22/7/1963. Retired from the British Army 31/3/1968 He the served in an advisory role to the Sultan of Oman for some years. He died in London (Wandsworth) in 1991 aged 61 years.
FRAMED RAOB MEDALS. The first a silver and enamel with jewel eyes Midlands County Banner on the bars. Buffalo head centre with Handsworth Queens Lodge, Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes. The reverse inscribed, The Order of Merit was presented to Primo Wm Bate Oliver K O M, by the Brothers of No 2 Handsworth Lodge. In estimation of his services in the cause of Buffaloism and as a token of regard for him as a man. Sept 22nd 1898. Secondly Propoganda - Jewel bars on a red & white ribbon with Buffalo head centre. Inscribed on the reverse, Presented by the Royal Manor Lodge, Primo W A H SCrivens, for past valuable services Mar 14 1892. Thirdly a RAOB Jewel with 1st Dec: 9th May- G E B- 2nd Dec: 25th Aug 1924, bars. Jewel eyes centre with RAOB motto in the blue enamel scroll. Inscribed on the reverse, This Order of Merit and Honour of Knighthood was conferred upon Bro Sir A H R Parr, by The Claremont Lodge. As a mark of appreciation for his services in the cause of Buffaloism, and their regard for him as a man and brother, March 26th 1928 . All three hallmarked.

An Officers Helmet Plate centre in a void construction example of some quality. A gilt and scm belt buckle with St Andrews cross and Castle within a wreath decoration, again of some quality in manufacture.(2) See Illustration
A K O S BORDERERS BROADSWORD & SCABBARD. A Victorian Kings Own Scottish Borderers Broadsword with E Thurkle & Sons, Denmark St, Soho, London on the forte. The 33" double-edged blade is decorated with thistles VR and other patterns. On the centre of the blade is Nisi Dominus Trustra. (without the Lord everything is in vain ) Nec Aspera Terrant (Hardships do not deter us) below a Castle and then a Horse respectively. Kings Own Scottish Borderers below a Victorian Crown. Battle Honours from Egypt, Minden, etc up to 1878-80. Full dress hilt with red inner lining and red pommel fringe, steel pierced outer guard in its steel scabbard. See Illustration.
CASED 18ct GOLD B O BRITAIN 25th ANNIVERSARY MEDALLIONS. Cased 18ct gold Johnson Matthey & Co of London, Battle of Britain Commemorative Medals (3) with certificates. Three different sized medallions all hallmarked for 18ct, Commemorating 25 yrs since the Battle, with Never in the field of Human Conflict etc, on each. weighing .257 oz /.562 oz /1.125 oz seperately. The numbered certificates match the numbers on the medals, C1564-B 1555 and A 2218.
A CASED 9ct GOLD RAOB AWARD. An R A O Buffaloes 9ct Gold and Enamel award, weighing 21.4 grams. Top ribbon suspender and bar mount also marked 9ct. Engraved Nelson Lodge and 3825 on the bars, C W in the central boss. In a Charles Usher marked case with his initials stamped into each component.
PAPERWORKS ETC TO F/S/Sjt & CARRIAGE SMITH H BOWDON. A Memorial Scroll and two original newspaper cuttings, relating to Horace Bowdon (Bowden) Royal Field Artillery formerly Yeomanry & 1st/1st Btty Devon RFA. Aged 33 years a native of Wear Gifford, the son of Mr & Mrs Walter Bowdon. The two original cuttings relate to his being a local sportsman and his enlistment in Credition. He went to India where he succumbed to fever and died on the 21st September 1916. A framed miniature of him also a sleeve red/gold bullion dress badge with Crown over Field Cannon and a horseshoe inverted above sergeants stripes. A 1914 Xmas tin with cigarette (16) and tobacco contents including Photo & Xmas card. A note states awarded to C P O W W G Bowden RN. In 1918 Walter W G Bowden was serving on HMS Woolwich. (Entitled a 1914/15 Trio)
A CASED PAIR OF WILLIAMS O/UNDER PERCUSSION PISTOLS. In a fitted mahogany case a pair of I Williams of 67 Threadneedle Street, London, over and under percussion pistols. Each hammer has a sliding safety in the action, with dual triggers below. Underslung swivel ramrods on the 4.1/4" steel barrels, having side ribs and flattened top with proof marks evident. Chequered grips with opening buttcaps, traces of colour hardening on the ornate actions. 9" overall length with the case containing a bullet mould, wadcutter etc. See Illustration.
