Published by McCorquodale & Co. Limited, Glasgow and London. The poster includes a 'Midland Railway Authorised for Exhibition' stamp at upper-right. 97cm x 59cm. Together with another Edwardian Scottish travel poster, 'To See the Land o' Burns Travel by the Midland & G.&S.W. Railways, the Only Direct Route' (depicting poet Robert Burns standing over a map of Scotland), colour lithograph published by Andrew Reid & Company Ltd, 50 Grey Street, Newcastle-on-Tyne. 98cm x 62cm. Both posters exceptionally vibrant for age, the Burns poster a/f with loss. Each poster has been professionally mounted/backed with linen incorporating archival/conservation materials.

An 18ct yellow gold and carnelian signet ring, size O 1/2, approx 9g, two 9ct yellow gold signet rings, combined approx 5.0g (one af), a base metal ring and boxed pair of cufflinks. CONDITION REPORT: 18ct ring set with red stone worn with scratches etc, one of the 9ct signet rings extremely misshapen, general surface wear throughout, the base metal ring has one stone missing and others damaged, repaired split to band and corrosion. The cufflinks are base metal.
A Sheaffer sterling silver fountain and ball pen set, silver and silver plated propelling pencils including Yardley, Yard-O-Led, etc (11). CONDITION REPORT: The 15ct nib of the Sheaffer silver fountain pen has signs of impact damage and the mechanism on the roller ball pen seems inoperable, the silver casing on one of the propelling pencils is split and the others all have small knock marks and wear commensurate with age.
