EUSEBIO CIRCA 1968 MATCH WORN #10 BENFICA AWAY JERSEYA Casa Desporto brand Sport Lisboa e Benfica (Benfica) 1968 football jersey match worn by Portuguese football star Eusebio da Silva Ferreira, widely known simply as Eusebio. Stitched on the upper left front is a Benfica logo patch. Stitched on the back of the jersey is Eusebio's number 10 in red fabric numbers. Stitched on the left sleeve is Portugal's coat of arms. The manufacturer label in the collar became undone but is photographed in the letter. Eusebio is considered Benfica's and the Portugal national team's most renowned player and one of the first world-class African-born strikers. Nicknamed "Black Panther," "Black Pearl," and "o Rei" the King , Eusebio is Benfica's all-time top goal scorer. He won the Ballon d'Or award for European Footballer of the Year in 1965 and was runner-up in 1962 and 1966. He played for Benfica for 15 years. The jersey is accompanied by a letter of authenticity which states that this jersey is a property from the collection of former Argentina national team and Boca Juniors player Silvio Marzolini whose club ID is photographed in the letter.

To Be Sold With No ReserveA lustre ware and cobalt blue conical bowlKashan, central Iran, first quarter 13th centuryOn tall straight foot, with slightly flaring body, the base with a turquoise blue crane against a radiating medallion, the radial decoration to the cavetto consisting of six repeating panels inhabited by facing perched birds on scrolling ground within a roundel below a register of stylised flying birds on similar ground, interspersed with vertical calligraphic inscriptions in naskh script, all delineated in cobalt blue, the rim with loose naskh script23.4cm. diam.Provenance: Property from a Private London Collection acquired prior to 1979Footnotes: For a similar conical bowl painted in lustre, its radial bands and other registers highlighted in cobalt blue, dated circa 1200-1220, see Watson, O. The layout of this published bowl shares the same layout as ours, a well decoration framed by a circular calligraphic band, the walls quartered with radial calligraphic registers delimitating panels of decoration on dense scrollworks.Condition Report: This bowl is repaired and restored from many breaks. The breaks are filled. Some repaints are visible to the naked eye, mostly tot he cavetto and the calligraphic band to the rim. The foot is fritted and lightly chipped.

Ceramics from Islamic Lands, cat. Q. 15, p.386, London, 2004Condition Report: This bowl presents as clean overall. It is repaired and restored form several breaks, some clean. The breaks are otherwise filled in. The filling areas are repainted, and so are losses to the glaze and slip. Under U. V light the larger areas of repaint are seen to the exterior, along the breaks and their losses and a larger spot to the body of the crane. Some minute losses to the glaze can be seen. The exterior and part of the rim show iridescence.

Ceramics form Islamic Lands, cat. N.7, p.339, London, 2004.Condition Report: This bowl is extensively repaired and restored from multiple break. Those restorations and repairs represent approximately three quarters of this bowl's entirety. There seem to be a consistent use of a polymer or polymer-like paste rendering a smooth feeling to the touch. The break lines and areas of filling can be noticed by their very light pale yellow tinge. The central painted medallion shows some blemishes and a relatively noticeable change of hue in the blue pigment.

The lustre remains strong overall. As can be seen on the catalogue and website illustrations it has slightly dulled in places, notably to the upper inscription, and below it to the band of medallions. An area to the exterior has entirely faded due to light iridescence. Under U. V this bowl renders a uniform dark aubergine tint, its iridescence a uniform white tint.
Vintage 925 Sterling Silver Synthetic Colour-Change Sapphire ring. The ring contains a 12mm x 10mm Emerald Cut Synthetic Colour-Change Sapphire and four round cabochon Synthetic Colour-Change Sapphires that each measure approx. 3mm. The colour changes from bluish purple in flourescent light to a pink colour in incandescent light. The ring is hallmarked with the makers mark what looks like " C.M.B", the Lion Passant for Sterling Silver, the Leopard assay mark for London and the date letter "O" for 1969. The ring weighs approx. 7.24 grams. Condition: The ring is in good condition commensurate with the age of the ring.
