A diamond solitaire ring, the old brilliant cut diamond (of approximately 1.00ct) within an eight claw setting, within yellow gold shoulders and plain hoop engraved and dated '31.8.28', weight 2.7gms, size O/P CONDITION REPORT: Hoop engraved to the interior 'C.E.G - F.W.T.W 31.8.28', stamped indistinctly '18' but '8' almost gone. Three claws very worn and almost gone - would need re-tipping professionally. Some minor wear to the hoop commensurate with wear, overall condition is fair. Some very minor inclusions visible with a 10x lens, but overall quite clean, colour is good, drawing a little colour but nice bright stone.
