A Chinese blue and white vase: of baluster form with waisted slender neck and ruyi handles, painted with scrolling peony, lingzhi sprays and foliage between ruyi-head and lappet borders at the rim and foot, six-character Qianlong seal mark, bears a fragment of a collector's paper label, 27 cm high [tiny flat chip to one ruyi handle terminal].Please note there will be no online bidding for this lot. An English private collection by descent through the Blackett/Adnams family. The vase was acquired by Annie Madeline Glover b.1885 [daughter of Annie Adnams b.1857] who arrived in Shanghai to teach in September 1910. She married accountant James Arthur Burke-Scott there in 1912, had a son in 1913 and was widowed in 1918. Subsequently she and her son Pat moved back to this country in 1922 on the P&O steamship 'Egypt', eventually settling in Bloomfield Park, Bath from where the vase was passed on to the present owner.

A 20th century diamond solitaire ring: the round, brilliant-cut diamond approximately 8.3mm diameter x 4.6mm deep, estimated to weigh 1.9cts in six-claw setting and between baguette-cut diamond shoulders, the shank un-marked, together with fitted maroon 'Asprey' box, 5gms gross weight, ring size O 1/2.

An 18K Tank Americaine automatic calendar wristwatch: the curved, rectangular dial with black Roman numerals, date aperture at 6 'o' clock, secret signature at 10 'o' clock and blued steel sword hands, the case back numbered 8172984 00400 and secured by eight screws, case approximately 23mm wide (excluding crown) x 40.5mm long and on black 'Cartier' strap with signed buckle/clasp together with fitted box, booklet and international guarantee.
