An 18 Carat Gold Ruby and Diamond Three Stone Ring, the oval mixed cut ruby flanked by two round brilliant cut diamonds in white claw settings to a yellow tapered shoulder plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 0.45 carat approximately, finger size O see illustration . The ring is in very good condition. It is hallmarked with sponsor's mark 'GC&S' (rubbed), Birmingham. The ruby measures; 6.26mm x 5.31mm x 4.3mm (depth not obtainable with complete accuracy). The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour G/H/I, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 4.2 grams. CR made 2nd May 2019.
