The Beatles - an incredibly rare original Beatles contract (unsigned) for a television appearance on 'Thank Your Lucky Stars' on the 23rd June, 1963. The contract is addressed to ' The Beatles c/o Nems Enterprises Ltd,' and is marked for the attention of Brian Epstein. The contact states the Nature Of Service as ' To mime and appear as required ' on ' Thank Your Lucky Stars ' with an 'anticipated transmission date of 29.6.63.' For their services they were paid £12 each, with a supplement of £6 if appropriate. As well as payment, they received second class return rail fares to Liverpool / Birmingham. The contract is written on headed ' Irish Productions Ltd ' paper. The type-written message are sadly a little faded, but still clear enough to read. The contract is unsigned, and presumably the engagement didn't go ahead as planned, or was a spare / altered contract which went unused. A rare piece of early Beatles memorabilia. Framed. Total size approx; 40cm x 27cm.
