O Yemi Tubi, "Riding the Storms and the Waves", 91 x 61cm, c. 2019. Sometimes in one’s life, it’s as if storms and waves of challenges come from every side. It often seems one will go down and swept away by the storms of life. In the Holy Bible, there are lots of encouraging words that gives one hope to persevere to ride the storms of life. I am using this painting to illustrate one of the encouraging verses from the Holy Bible- Isaiah 43 verse 2. At the background, I painted the face of Christ breaking through the turbulent cloud in the sky at the back of the main image. I painted an image of a woman on surfing board in my usual style of Roses and Thorns which is also a message of encouragement – As the roses blossom amid the thorns, one can survive the raging waves of life. UK shipping £35.

Lot 95

O Yemi Tubi, "The Violinist", 91 x 61cm, c. 2016. I love the works of Spanish surreal artists like Salvador Dali's "Butterfly windmills" and Italian artist Guiseppe Arcimboldo’s The Librarian. I love to create works from my own imagination that are not real. Looking at the picture of a young lady on church’s notice board, I was inspired to do this painting. This young lady is a violinist in the church worship choir, and I chose to use her musical instrument to paint her portrait. UK shipping £35.

Lot 120

Tin Stanton, "Nowhere", framed acrylic o board, 44 x 54cm, c. 2021. UK shipping £15.

Lot 97

O Yemi Tubi, "Trump's Cage", 91 x 61cm, c. 2019. "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" Emma LazarusThe Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, Inc.The above statement is the welcoming message written under the Statue of Liberty for all the immigrants from all over the world that were seeking solace in the great land of liberty (USA) for all people. In Trump’s America, bondage, imprisonment and sorrow are his government's welcome message to immigrants; which is the title of this painting – The Trump’s Cage." UK shipping £35.

Lot 119

Tin Stanton, "Gloria", framed acrylic o board, 44 x 54cm, c. 2021. UK shipping £15.

Lot 93

O Yemi Tubi, "The Bait", 46 x 61cm, c. 2020. As stated by the wisest and wealthiest man in the Holy Bible, King Solomon, nothing is as banal and meaningless as unhealthy love of money. The unhealthy love of money is one of the banalities of evil in our daily lives which influenced my painting – "The Bait" An unhealthy love of money is the root of all evil; everyone, great or small is vulnerable to succumb to the alluring of this bait. Money has often been used as bait to lure young people into a life of crime that may lead them to prison or to their early grave. Money has often been used as bait for the prevention of justice. Many great people fell from grace when they succumbed to this bait. UK shipping £35.

Lot 123

Malena Chavez, "Sweet dreams", watercolour, 21 x 30cm, c. 2021. This painting is inspired by a dream I had. In my dreams, I can visit imposing places. Dreaming gives us the freedom to imagine and then wake up and create o represent what we have experienced. Sometimes it is our only way to escape reality. UK shipping £25.

CONDITION REPORT: The watch is in good condition. The glass, case and bracelet have some fine surface scratches upon close inspection, commensurate with everyday wear. There are no deep scratches or dents that I can see. There are some miniscule nicks around the edge of the glass. The crown emblem on the bracelet is slightly rubbed, suggesting that the bracelet has been repolished at some point. One of the links of the bracelet has a shallow dent which becomes visible when the light reflects off it. This link would be on the inner side of the wearer's wrist, in line with the thumb, when the watch is worn. A couple of the gold pins in the bracelet are possible replacements. The clasp works fine. The watch winds, runs and adjusts correctly. The movement appears clean. There is no box or paperwork.
