PIENE, OTTO (Bad Laasphe 1928-2014 Berlin), Farbserigrafie auf Karton: "Lichtgestalt" (1972), mit Bleistift signiert "O Piene". Blattgröße 83 x 58 cm. Der Mitbegründer der Zero-Gruppe, der u. a. an den Akademien in München und Düsseldorf studierte und später selbst zahlreiche Professuren innehatte, gilt als einer der Pioniere der Licht- und Feuerkunst. Wichtige Elemente der Arbeiten Pienes sind Spuren von Feuer und Rauch; ebenso bekannt ist er u. a. für seine lichtkinetischen Objekte. Gemeinsam mit Heinz Mack gründete er 1957 in Düsseldorf die später international einflussreiche Künstlergruppe ZERO („Nullpunkt der Kunst“), der sich im Jahr 1961 auch Günther Uecker anschloss. Ungerahmter Druck (mit einigen Knicken, partiell berieben; rückseitig verfärbt / lichtspurig). Aus dem Nachlass einer westfälischen Privatsammlung.
