AN EDWARD VIII SILVER PEDESTAL DISH by Mappin & Webb Ltd, Birmingham 1936, the heptagonal shallow bowl with an S-scroll and shell cast rim, raised on a short circular foot. 27.5cm diameter, 13.5 troy ouncesMarks clear and well struck. Stamped 'MAPPIN & WEBB' to underside. Foot slightly misshapen, slight rocking to base. A few dings/creases to the bowl (biggest approx. 1.5cm long). Surface tarnish and light scratches commensurate with age and use.
