BERMUDA Postal History: Small selection comprising a 1708 copy of a letter addressed 'To the Queen's most Excellent Majesty' making representation regarding legal matters on Bermuda, an affidavit dated 1807 signed by John Van Norden (Mayor of St George) regarding the 'ownership' of a "Negro man", an 1813 letter from the Captain of HMS San Domingo which was in the West Indies at that time, 1825 June 14th m/s order approving General Hilgrave Turner as the Governor & Commander in Chief of the Bermudas, and a similar item dated 1831 August 10 approving the appointment of Sir Stephen Remnant Chapman as the Governor & Commander in Chief of the Bermudas, both signed 'Bathurst' (William Bathurst was Clerk to the Privy Council), and are headed 'At the Court at Carlton House' and At the Court of St James' respectively, a telling piece of social history, generally in good condition

German NSDAP 1929 Flag Finial, Aluminum construction with a silver finish, an attractive piece. It was used in the 1920’s during the Kampfzeit (“The Struggle for Power”). It was used by the SA (Stormtroopers) and the early SS formations that were Hitler’s Body Guard.
