A rare and unique vintage 1960's autograph book - originally belonging to an employee of The Bristol Old Vic - Jane Heaven - in the mid-late 1960's. Of note within the book is the cast of ' The Happiest Days Of Our Lives ' in 1965-66 which featured a young Jane Asher, whose boyfriend at the time was Beatles member Paul McCartney. Loose within the album is an 'unseen' photograph of Asher and McCartney, believed to have been taken backstage - either by the autograph book owner, or a fellow member of staff. The black and white silver gelatine photograph on Agfa paper depicts McCartney to centre (holding a dog), Asher to his right and a member of staff to his left. The photograph measures approx; 4x5". Autographs within the book include; Peter O'Toole, Sian Phillips, Patrick Stewart, Hazel Hughes, Wendy Craig, Jane Asher (as well as a signed photograph), Margaret Lamb, Stanley Bates, Jane Lapotaire, Acker Bilk, Terrence Hardiman, Josephine Shore, and others.A rare and interesting unique part of Bristol / Theatre history.

Label to verso reads  ' Pencil drawing. From the collection of Tom McKimson. In a career that began in 1928, Tom McKimson's work spanned seven decades and was involved with Animation Studios including Disney, Romer Grey and Warner Bros. He also did freelance work for various studios and created comic book art....'. With certificate. Framed and glazed to a total size of: 45cm x 50cm. Rare.

An interesting 1960's small autograph book, containing a set of Beatles autographs. Largely believed to contain the genuine signature of Ringo Starr, who has also added the signatures of his other band mates. A 'Ringo-secretarial' example. It is well documented that all of The Beatles were quite adept at forging the members' autographs. The autograph book is otherwise empty except for a laid-in autograph near the end (unknown). Given the nature of this item, buyer discretion is advised.

A rare vintage 1960's (1964) Selcol made The Beatles ' Big 6 ' plastic acoustic model guitar. Burgundy, red and orange plastic construction, with six strings and all six tuning pegs present. Features facsimile autographs to the corner and a printed sticker of all four Beatles to the top. ' Beatles Big 6 ' silver coloured emblem also to body. Selcol makers label to sound hole. Also still retains one original burgundy guitar plectrum / pick. Appears in very good condition, with no cracks splits or visible damage - still playable. Survives within its rare original cardboard box, which still retains the original paper label to top. A rare and good example of early Beatles merchandise. Guitar measures approx; 80cm tall.
