A DOME WORKSPLATE "Weiner Lokomotiv-Fabriks-Aktien-Gesellschaft. No. 2152 WIEN FLORIDSDORF". As carried by the Austrian State Railways standard gauge 4-6-0 of Class 38 No.4109. A superheated express design, it was originally built for Sudbahn as 109.30, becoming 209.30 upon nationalization. Probably withdrawn in the 1950's. Convex cast brass, 181/2"x81/2", face-restored only.
A GWR Social and Educational Union, dark blue cricket cap with silver thread decoration, a top black tassel, and embroidered in silver thread on the front "GWR. S&EU 1929". Labels inside indicate it was awarded to A.E. Darby for an International Match England v Wales in 1929. In fine, original condition. How's that for a rarity!
