Watkins Electronic Music (WEM) 1960's Valve Copi Cat The Copicat was the first ever "echo-repeat" guitar effect machine, originally designed in 1958. This is a mid 1960's version finished in a black and cream case. It features a record head, three replay heads with individual push-buttons, and a permanent magnet mounted on the tape tension arm to wipe the tape clean on every cycle. The three function buttons (halo/echo/repeat) select tape heads and correspondingly the length of the echoes; 'halo' being the shortest, 'repeat' being the longest. Comes with all leads and tape.
