REEL: A rare Hardy The Field 3-1/8" Contract drum alloy reel, face plate stamped "HARDYS PAT" "THE FIELD" and "Hardy`s Alnwick", ivory handle, smooth check, brass handle, brass full annular line guide, 2 screw drum, all correct screws, retains most original dark lead finish, Illus. *The Field contract drum models started life is 1895 with a single screw face this model dates c 1900, model ceased production in 1907.
