A scarce J Gourlay Carnoustie smooth faced hosel iron, stamped Reg No. 10745 - the head features a V shaped valley between the face and the bottom of the hosel, vertical hand punched dot face markings and stamped Auchterlonie St Andrew`s to the shaft just below the period full length hide grip.

Rare Tom Morris patent (applied for) "Cupped Ball" Elliptical face cleek c. 1891, stamped to the head with the Tom Morris St Andrew`s oval logo, patent no 3059 and with Tom Stewart pipe mark - |together with Tom Morris St Andrew`s shaft stamp below the thick under listing. The design of iron with the rounded sole allowed players to use the club from any angle hence it was well received but interestingly was never patented. Illus. Early Cochrane`s Mammoth niblick c. 1920s, hand forged iron head stamped with the Cochrane`s bowline cleek mark, and retailers Hamley`s London. The circular head measures nearly 4 inches across and 3 1/2 inches deep - fitted with period full length leather grip. Illus.

Early A G Spalding patent "The Cran Cleek" fitted with a full face wooden insert secured by two rear screws. The head is clearly stamped with the Spalding Baseball logo - Pat.
