WWI group of medals including trio with 1914 star and clasp together with KG V Long Service Good Conduct medal to Sut C E F Stott ASC S-22213, together with photograph. Charles Stott saw service through the 1914-18 war serving in India and Malta, he was an excellent shot and retired as a Captain in the late 1930`s ++some service wear but overall good condition
Silver trophy cups won by Charles Stott during the 1920`s - Shooting Cup 1926 Devonport, Collingwood Rifle Challenge Cup 1922 Malta and Garrison Tennis League 1921 Malta, together with 4 silver/gilt Royal Army Service Corps spoons in the shape of crossed rifles the finial badge embellished with Regimental colours in yellow, blue and white enamels. Weight of trophies 6.5oz, spoons 3oz
WWII Medal and Defence medal to (Evelyn) Melita Stott, together with a letter of Thanks from Chief of the Air Staff 15/8/45. Daughter of Charles Stott, Melita joined the RAF in 1939 and rose to rank of Flight Sergeant. She served as one of Winston Churchill`s secretaries in the "Bunker" London (The Cabinet War Rooms are now open as a museum). She was De-mobbed in 1945 and sadly killed whilst crossing the road in December 1974

ZULU WAR - South Africa medal to Pte 29/922 N Naylor 58th Foot (Rutlandshire Regiment) with 1879 clasp. The regiment arrived in Durban on 4th April 1879 and on the 4th of July four companies of the regiment were engaged at the Battle of Ulundi forming part of the square. The regiment also supplied part of the escort for the Prince Imperial`s coffin. ++in good uncleaned condition, one or two small nicks, no ribbon
