Giovanni Grande for Lenci, The Drunken Silenus, a large pottery group, incised signature and printed mark, impressed number 38, 60x36cm, height 40cm.Condition report:Please see extra images for different views, maker's marks, and areas mentioned within the following report.There is no significant damage or restoration. There are several small glaze chips randomly throughout, including Satyr's right horn bud, Silenus's wreath and left eyebrow, the lower front teeth of the donkey, a shallow chip adjacent to the nude's foot on the base. There are also several random glaze chips to the baseline but barely noticeable when resting in position. To one side of the base there is a 2cm glaze flaw. To the underside of the base and mark, the year has been overpainted/ erased.

LENCI figure designed by Helen Koenig Scavini (1886-1974) for Lenci, Madonna Dell'Amore, figure of Madonna with open hands around doves, blue ground with burnt orange and gilt, height 29cm, created around 1938 and with stamps to basethe number 775/2. Provenance bought in Italy by owner's late parents whilst they were both serving in Italy during WWII and had just married. It is in good condition, with no obvious signs of damage, repair or restoration. It stands ok and does not rock.

A Lenci 300 series felt Boy doll, Italian circa 1930, with painted blue side glancing eyes, painted mouth and features, short blonde hair with side parting, swivel head and jointed and shoulders and hips, wearing original cream felt shirt, brown shorts, orange and blue knitted cardigan and socks with leather shoes, 17” (43cm) tall, condition: a good original doll but with discolouration to face and fading to clothes.

A rare Lenci pressed felt girl doll, with brown painted side glancing eyes, blonde mohair wig, swivel head, simply hinged with floppy joints at shoulders and hips, long legs, original white muslin dress with pink and peppermint felt trim, pink and peppermint felt bonnet, pink rose bud trim and similar corsage at neck, green shoes and white socks --20¾in. (53cm.) high (a little faded and some staining, fronts of legs seem washed)

Unusual 1930's cloth doll in a Lenci style with soft moulded shoulder-head, painted features and applied eyelashes, soft stuffed body and composition hands and lower legs. Doll is wearing a flamboyant purple and blue tiered dress in shot taffeta fabric, with matching hat and has original hair. Height 69cm
