Ensign Multex Mk II CRF Camera* by Houghton Butcher. #21058 400. (condition 5D). c1936-8. With original lens cap & case. Serviced by Derek Calder October 2006. Semi-silvered rangefinder mirror replaced. New shutter blinds made - all speeds working and calibrated. Fitted with 53mm f1.9 Ross Xpres lens #133545 and with focal plane shutters to 1/1000* second. *Note from vendor "Although matching the MK II description, no number is evident on the camera and it seems to be a very early version, possibly a prototype. 1/1000th shutter speed engraving is deeper and the slot in the selector dial has been lengthened to give this top speed. Lens collimation was verified at the time".
