Officials, players, manager, trainers and referees listed who were part of the Official party together with the press representatives, special notes for players, World Cup schedule and travel times etc which involved four flights to get to Brazil. CRYSTAL PALACE SCRAPBOOKS Three 1970/71 Scrapbooks 134 pages. Division one, covering every League FA Cup. Anglo Italian Cup, Friendly and Testimonial game of the 1970/71 season, (64 matches) plus other news, transfers, Div one results. Palace were the only team to defeat double winning Arsenal at Highbury (winning a League Cup Replay 2-0), and became the first English team ever to beat Inter Milan at the San Siro (2-1 victory in the Anglo Italian Cup). Palace faded to 18th position. Generally good
CRYSTAL PALACE SCRAPBOOKS Two 1972/72 Scrapbooks 84 pages, Division one, covering every League, FA Cup, League Cup, Friendly and Testimonial game of the 1971/72 season (54 matches) plus other news, transfers, results, league tables, etc. The highlight of the season (and there were not many as Palace struggled against relegation) was the 5-1 victory over high flying Sheff Utd (the match being shown on BBC`s Match of the Day). John `Yogi Bear` Hughes came second in the Match of the Day `Goal of the Season` competion, losing out to Ronnie Radford`s rocket (for Hereford) against Newcastle in the FA Cup. Palace just survived in 20 position. Generally good

However, Palace struggle against relegation for most of the season, finished in second division. Generally good
CRYSTAL PALACE SCRAPBOOK 1973/74 Scrapbook 54 pages Division two, covering every League, FA Cup, League Cup, Friendly and Testimonial game of 1973/74 season (49 matches), plus other news, transfers, results, league tables etc. Malcolm Allison widened the pitch (for more exciting football), gave players each a nickname, changed from "The Glaziers" to "The Eagles", and promised that Palace would be Divison Two Champions, Palace were relegated to Third Divison. Scrapbook contains autograph of Palace goalkeeper Paul Hammond. Generally good

MISCELLANY A number of programmes including Wimbledon Tennis 27/6/53 ( spine splits) but the remainder are football and include 1991 FA Cup Final with poster, + ten Non-League issues inc Kettering v Arsenal 6/5/74, Maidstone v QPR 74/5, Wycombe v Middlesbrough 74/5 (Cup), Morecambe v Burnley 74/5 and Hitchin v Ipswich 74/5. FA CUP 1959 A set of programmes for the triumphant Nottingham Forest Cup run in 1959. Forest defeated Luton in the Final ( programme has 9 Forest autographs) after being held to a draw by Non-League Tooting and Mitcham in the Third Round. All nine programmes are here, homes v Tooting, Grimsby , Birmingham and Bolton and aways at Tooting ( rare, good condition), Birmingham, Birmingham (second replay at Leicester), Semi v Villa at Hillsborough and Final v Luton which has been autographed by nine of the Forest team ( all except Whitefoot and McDonald), some have faults such as scores, ageing etc. Fair-generally good
TOTTENHAM Excellent bound volume with gilt inscription T.H.F.C Programmes 1931-32, green bound volume, very slight ageing to bottom of front cover but otherwise excellent, all programmes are mint. Fifty programmes, 21 x League (inc v Leeds and v Man Utd), 1 x FA Cup, Whites v Stripes, London Challenge Cup v Brentford, Spurs Juniors v Livingstone (London Minor Cup Final), friendlies v Oxford University and v Northfleet, and two other games played at White hart Lane, Army v RAF and RAF v Royal Horse Guards.
