An H & R Daniel porcelain egg cup stand, second gadroon shape, with lilac blue border and gilt detail, numbered 4332 in gilt to the base of the stand, illustrated in Michael Berthoud's 'The Daniel table ware patterns', book plate 144, 23cm across - Part of a private owner collection CONDITION REPORT: General minor wear to the gilding and lilac ground on all pieces. Cup one - Chip to the rim. Crack running down 2/3 of the bowl with small chips missing off the crack on the outside. Four extremely small (1mm) cracks around the rim. Cup two - Broken and re-glued with small piece missing and extensive evidence of glue on the body of the cup. Cup three - Small chip to the foot. Cup four - Base broken off and re-glued at the join between the body and the stem. Hairline crack running down from the rim, approximately 15mm long. Cup five - Crack running all the way around the join between the stem and the cup. Cup Six - Foot broken and re-glued at the join between the stem and the body. Stand - Handle loop restored. Area of lilac ground with pale stain. Small chip to the underside of the foot (possibly done at the factory). There is a crack running all around the join between the stem and the top section of the stand.

There is a hairline crack running down from the rim approx 2cm long. There are small patches of light brown staining to the duck egg blue ground. Cup two: Brown staining to the base of the interior. An area of light brown staining below the rim near the handle. Chamberlains cup - Gilding to foot rim worn. Gilding to the base of the interior worn. Remainder of gilding with minor wear. The body of the cup on the interior is creased. Copeland cup and saucer - Cup: Handle restored with slight crazing to the rim of the cup by the handle. Very small chip to foot possibly done in the factory. Saucer: Small chip to the foot rim. A few scratches to the blue ground. A hairline crack running down from the rim approximately 1cm long

Egg cup two - Firing fault to the underside of the foot and glazed chip to the top of the foot rim.

One teapot ok - one with chip to underneath of spout. Dish & cover - tiny chip to gilt line on top rim - the other good condition. Two butter dishes ok - one with chip. All with rubbed gilding to centre.
