CLINE PATSY: (1932-1963) American Country and Pop Music Singer. Rare vintage signed 8 x 10 photograph, an engaging image of Cline in a smiling head and shoulders pose. The Decca Records publicity portrait has been signed by Cline in blue fountain pen ink across a light area of the image. Also signed (`Sincere Thanks, Patsy Cline`) in bold blue ink to the verso, alongside signatures of three of her musicians (?). Cline has further added the name (`Patsy Cline Fan Club`; effectively a third signature) and address of her fan club to the verso, also providing details of the annual subscription. Signed photographs of Cline are extremely rare following her tragically early death at the age of 30 in an air crash, and this is a particularly desirable example.
