Farbloses mattes und poliertes Glas, farbig überfangen, umlaufend Wasserlandschaft mit Bäumen geschnitten und geätzt, walzenförmig, sich nach unten verjüngend und auf eingeschnürtem, wulstigen, runden Standfuß stehend, auf der Wandung sign., H=58,3 cm. **
Miniaturvase, Daum Nancy. Leicht rosalinfarbenes Glas mit milchig opakem Innenüberfang. Umlaufend geätzte und in farbigem Email bemalte Landschaftsdarstellung mit Bäumen. Äußere Schicht mit wohl herstellungsbedingtem Haarriss. Unter dem Boden sign. Daum Nancy mit Lothringer Kreuz. Um 1900. H. 5 cm.
Frères Louchet, zug.Höhe: 53 cm. Durchmesser: 32 cm.Frankreich, um 1890.Auf getreppten Bronzefüßen der kreisrunde Unterbau in Onyx mit aufmontierter Vase. Die Montierung vergoldet und polychrom staffiert auf schwarzem Fond.Anmerkung 1:Paul Louchet (1854 - 1936) ziselierte zunächst Bronzen, wurde dann in Paris Präsident der Gesellschaft der Bronzehersteller. Er arbeitete mit seinem Bruder Charles zusammen und beide hatten zusammen auf der Chicago Universal Exhibition 1893 großen Erfolg. Während des Jugendstils arbeiteten sie auch zusammen mit Louis Majorelle, René Lalique und Daum.Anmerkung 2:Der Onyx, der 1849 in Algerien durch einen Franzosen wiederentdeckt worden ist, war in der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Daum Frères gegr. 1875 Nancy. Große Jugendstil-Vase. Nancy. Um 1910. Glas. H. 49,6 cm. Auf der Wandung sign.: 'Daum Nancy' mit Lothringer Kreutz im hochgeätztem Relief. Zustand 1 sehr kl. Chip am Mündungsrand. Farbloses Glas, eisgeätzt und mit gelben Pulvereinschmelzungen unterfangen. Gelb-oranger Überfang mit reliefiert geätztem Dekor in Form von Kastanien und Kastanienblättern. - Die Glasmanufaktur wurde 1875 von Jean Daum (1825-85) in Nancy gegründet und von seinen Söhnen Auguste (1854-1909) und Antonin (1864-1930) fortgeführt.
