A Chinese zitan table screen and slotted stand, 20th century, the rectangular panel inlaid with hardstone and mother-of-pearl butterfly and flowers beneath lines of incised text, the reverse with further lines of incised green and red text, height 20.3cm, together with a zitan rectangular box, the sliding cover decorated with a pair of dragons and flaming pearl, length 37.8cm.

The carved and moulded gilt frame with scroll details and bearing a plaque reading 'Presented to Lady George by the province of Middlesex to celebrate The Re Hon Lord George Hamilton's completion of 21 years as Provincial Grand Master 30th May 1913, each section having a glazed panel and a section of a Chinese dragon robe. H196cm x W188cm Condition Report: The structure folds easily and stands freely. The frame shows signs of wear including cracks, knocks and rubbing to the gilt. The fabric panels are heavily worn through and torn with a number of stains, one is not fully attached to the structure. Would benefit from a clean.
