An Imperial German artillery officer’s sword, curved, fullered blade 32”, foliate panelled brass stirrup hilt, the langets bearing crossed cannon on one side and owner’s monogram “WH” in shield on the other, pronounced knucklebow with trophy and Maltese Cross, lion’s head pommel, backstrap with central floral panel and “ears”, swollen wirebound fishskin covered grip, in its black painted scabbard with single ring. GC, the blade retaining some original plating, the hilt a little gilt. Plate 3
A fine cannon model, dating: 19th Century, provenance: Europe, dating: 19th Century, provenance: Europe, Iron barrel shaped as a truncated cone, with a moulded muzzle in the nozzle, three moulding bands, cylindrical trunnions and central handles, back vent between two moulding bands, olive-shaped cascabel. Nice, wooden gun carriage with iron mounts (one of the two barrel locking mechanisms is missing). Wooden radial wheels, reinforced with iron. Complete with a scaled reproduction of tools for loading and cleaning., length canna 50,5 cm.
A scarce cannon with carriage, dating: early 17th Century, provenance: Europe, dating: early 17th Century, provenance: Europe, A beautiful, bronze barrel (70 cm length) shaped as a truncated cone, provided with molded muzzle with several rings at the nozzle, then featuring a bans decorated with bas-relieved, floral motifs, rings and a frame decorated with relieved leaves; the center of the barrel featuring decorations (rings and a frame) alternating to another, thick, bas-relieved band decorated with spirals and racemes. Short trunnions of cylindrical shape. Handles decorated with relieved leaves and a the head of a monster. A beautiful, relieved heraldic shield inside a frame with leaves, surrounded by frames and rings and featuring remains of the date '1613'. Vent at the back. Cascabel decorated with relieved petals. Wheels featuring rays and carved en suite with the carriage at the sides. Iron mounts with a fine, brown patina., length totale 120 cm.

Cascabel engraved in the shape of a pine cone. 23 mm cal. On wooden carriage with rayed wheels and iron mounts; pierced plaques decorated with spirals at the sides. The locking mechanisms of the barrels held by chains. Complete with limber carriage (130 cm length) with wheels and iron mounts., length totale con affusto 99 cm.

In mint boxed complete unused condition, no signs of factory sellotape seals, superb example! Signature of RCAF fighter ace Flight Lieutenant Donald R. Morrison DFC DFM. On 8 November 1942, he was shot down over Calais and so badly wounded in the leg by a cannon the German doctors had to amputate his leg. Due to his incapacity, he was repatriated home in October 1943. Good condition. All signed items will come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
