Matchbox Regular Wheels Group of 4 x Mid to Late 1960's Issue Commercial Vehicles - all are 36-tread black plastic wheels - (1) 2c Muir hill Site Dumper - Stannard Code 5 - without silver trim, Type C chassis, 11.5mm diameter front black plastic wheels - Near mint with chip to leading edge of cab roof, in Good creased along 1 striker side Type D4 Box; (2) 10c Foden sugar Container Truck - Stannard Code 16 - with silver trim to grille & front bumper only, rear decal without crown, Type B large cab door windows, large fuel tank ejector ring, Type C base & chassis, Type C rear hatch - Excellent with a few tiny chips, in Good very clean but quite hevily creased at 1 end Type D2 Box printed by Bowater; (3) 21c Commer milk Float - Stannard Code - cow door decals, turquoise green windows, white crate load, gloss black riveted base - Excellent Plus with larde chip to right hand rear corner of body, in Excellent Type E4 Box; (3) 26b Foden Cement Mixer - without silver trim, orange plastic barrel, with chassis braces - Excellent with some paint chips, in Excellent Type D3 Box. Matchbox Superfast Group of 3 x 1969 Issue Cars in EARLY TRANSITIONAL TYPE F BOXES - all are clear windows, ivory interior, bare metal base - (1) 15a Volkswagen Beetle - metallic red body with racing number 137 door labels, "Monte Carlo Rally" front bumper decal, split rear bumper, hollow 5-spoke narrow wheels without tread pattern cast - Excellent to Excellent Plus (glue showing through labels which are discoloured & chip to front bumper decal) in Good "New" Type F2 Box with large surface tears to both striker sides (later period model in early period box); (2) 45a Ford Group 6 - metallic green body with circular racing number 7 nose lable, 5-spoke wide wheels - Near Mint with paint loss to leading edge of roof, in Good Plus creased along 1 striker side "New" Type F3 Box; 93) 64a MG 1100 - metallic blue body with semi-matt paint finish, glazing held by un-punched roof rivet, hollow small diameter 5-spoke narrow wheels - Near Mint with a few minor marks to roof, in generally Excellent Type F3 Box with tear to 1 end flap. (3)
Matchbox Superfast 15a Volkswagen Beetle Rally Car - metallic red body with racing number 137 door labels, Monte Carlo Rally front bumper decal, ivory interior, bare metal base with single rear bumper casting, hollow 5-spoke narrow wheels 3 of which have tread pattern cast - Near Mint with 2 tiny pin size chips & factory casting/paint flaws to left hand side wheel arches, in Excellent Plus "New" Type H Box. Nice example.
Matchbox Superfast 8a Ford Mustang - white body, red interior, gloss black base, 5-spoke wide wheels - overall excellent but does have some paint chips to trunk & rear bumper alsong with rub marks & chip to roof, in Good Plus scuffed on both striker sides RARE TRANSITIONAL ISSUE TYPE F5 BOX WITHOUT "SUPERFAST" BRANDING.
Matchbox Superfast 51b Citroen SM MADE IN BULGARIA MODEL - metallic jade green body, windows have a very slight amber tint, pale yellow interior, silver painted Bulgaria base, dot-dash wheels - Excellent Plus Unboxed with chip to centre of front bumper & some factory assembly marks to base (see photo).
Matchbox Regular Wheels 8e Ford Mustang - Stannard Code 7 - RARE BURNT ORANGE BODY, without silver trim, red interior, gloss black base with patent number & tow guides, chrome hubs with black plastic tyres - Excellent with some tiny chips to upper edge of rear wings & rear bumper, in Good to Good Plus scuffed & a little creased Type F2 Box. RARE TRANSITIONAL ISSUE.
Matchbox Superfast Group of 7 x Early 1970's Issue German Commercial Vehicles - all are black axle clips - (1) 1a Mercedes LP Covered Truck - dark yellow canopy, 5-spoke narrow wheels, front wheels solid with tread pattern cast, rear wheels hollow without tread pattern cast; (2) Mercedes LP Covered Trailer - dark yellow canopy, 4-spoke narrow wheels; (3) 11a Mercedes Scaffold Truck complete with load attached to sprues, solid 5-spoke narrow wheels 3 of which have tread pattern cast, (front axle bent out of shape); (4) 12b Setra Coach - metallic gold body with thin rear bumper casting, white plastic roof, clear windows, ivory interior, hollow small diameter 5-spoke narrow wheels; (5) 30a Faun Crane Truck - solid 5-spoke narrow wheels without tread pattern cast; (6) 47a DAF Tipper Container Truck - red grille & base with "Pat App" text, hollow 5-spoke narrow wheels withouot tread pattern cast; (7) 58a DAF Girder Truck - red grille & base with "Pat App" text, hollow 5-spoke narrow wheels withouot tread pattern cast, complete with load attached to sprues - Excellent to Mint in generally Good to Good Plus "New" Type G boxes apart from box for 58a Girder Truck which is Excellent Plus. Intended to follow on from the Turbine Truck Series of vehicles in the keenly priced Pre-School Qualitoy Range, this proposed model never made it to production.
