Original vintage tin plate Passenger Train Set made by Wells-Brimtoy, Great Britain. Consisting of engine, tender, coach and oval of track. The attractive "Britannia" engine is more toy than model with lithographed wheels and fixed key. It does have a start/stop lever too. The carriage is marked with the Brimtoy trade mark. The tender is marked "British Rail" so the set was produced after 1948, probably at some time in the 1950's. The set is in very good condition and the engine is in working order. The box is also in good condition - see images.
