Ltd, of square form, with engine turned decoration, gold banded borders and inset with a rectangular plaque inlaid with the initials RH in gold, with patent upward sliding hinge, hallmarks for London 1934, inset plaque with hallmarks for London 1935, 165.8gms, 9.5cm by 8.5cm Footnote:- formerly the property of Wing Commander Ralph Armine Ignatius Harrison who was killed in action, together with the seven crew when their Lancaster Bomber was shot down over the Netherlands 12th June 1945
A Victorian games compendium "The Royal Cabinet of Games" by Asprey & Son, containing bone chess set, draughts, dice, dominoes, chips, horse racing game with lead horses, cards etc, the amboyna case with Gothic style brass mounts set with onyx cabochons, width 33cm, depth 22.5cm & height 19.5cm. Condition - there're some minor losses of veneer, mostly to the base, one of the agate cabochons is chipped, one chess pawn broken (piece missing), three non matching draughts pieces, general wear throughout, brass mount lifting slightly to right front.
AN ASPREY OF BOND STREET PLATED CANTEEN OF TABLE FLATWARE, PRINCIPALLY FOR TWELVE PLACE SETTINGSComprising; twelve steel bladed table knives, twelve steel bladed cheese knives, a three piece carving set, twelve table forks, twelve tea spoons, (three further spare tea spoons) a further two piece carving set, twelve soup spoons, twelve dessert forks, eleven dessert spoons, twelve fish forks, eleven fish knives, six tablespoons, a pair of fish servers, twelve coffee spoons and a pair of sauce ladles. By Roberts & Belk, Sheffield England.The knives, the carving implements, the fish eaters and servers having pistol grip style handles. The remaining spoons and forks in a stylised Onslow pattern design with a two drawer fitted canteen cabinet. Condition Report: We can confirm that the twelve pistol grip handled forks are fish forks. Please note that one pistol grip knife and one Onslow pattern dessert spoon are missing. Estimated age: last quarter of the 20th century. Overall condition is good, the knife blades are detailed Asprey Bond Street. There are a few water stains to the top of the box.
An Asprey crocodile hide covered stationery box with green silk fitted interior. Maximum height 17cm, width 21.5cm, depth 12cm.Condition report: Externally very good with some scuffing to the base. The internal silk lining has some marks (see photos) and the base inside one of the small sections has moved. Probably the second letter is an H.There is no key. We believe that it dates from between the wars

ASPREY - 2 George V silver gilt-topped glass dressing table toilet jars, engine turned decoration, by Asprey & Co Ltd, hallmarks London 1910, circular jar diameter 7.5cm, (2)Circular jar has a screw-thread cap with one small dent and one sizeable chip on the glass base. Rectangular box has a couple of light corner chips to the glass, both have engraved monograms in lid cartouches, hallmarks clear.
