A matched set of four George II silver salt cellars, by Anne Tanqueray, London 1728 and 1730, circular form, with cut card leaf decoration, on raised circular bases, the centres engraved with an armorial within scroll mantling, height 5.3cm, diameter 8.9cm, approx. weight 24.5oz. (4) The arms are those of Cavendish impaling Carteret.
