A leather and silver mounted carriage clock with alarum by Drocourt, with a platform lever escapement quarter striking on two gongs, the backplate with DC oval trademark, 27231, and stamped MADE IN PARIS EXPRESSLY FOR ALBERT BARKER, the base with a SILENT/STRIKE lever, the white enamel dial marked with Roman numerals above a subsidiary alarum dial marked in Arabic numerals, the silver by Sidney Herbert Bath, London 1892, the hinged back door housing the winding key and with a sliding hanging attachment, 4.25in (11cm) h, with an associated travel case.
