A Spanish Two-faced Silver Gilt Reliquary Pendant, possibly 17th Century. The small rectangular box having bevelled glass front & back enclosing miniature portraits painted on copper of Queen Isabella la Católica, and two kings, framed by scrolling gilt sides with protuberant finials and cherubs' heads adorning the corners. The box containing a Spanish letter from a gentleman to his sister dated April 20th 1838, 3½ ins x 2¾ ins (9 cms x 7 cms).
