A Derby Cream-ware Teapot attributed to Melbourne Potteries Circa 1770 and having a baluster body with flared base, moulded with vertical reeds and striped in drips green glaze. The rim having a raised scallop edged collar of intricately pierced decoration, with a bamboo form handle, foliate spout and domed lid surmounted by a leafy triform knop, 6 ins (15 cms) in height (A/F).
