General Service Medal (GVI 1st type) with clasp `Palestine` officialy named to 5569276 Pte. J. T. Fallon Wilts. R. Private John Fallon is recorded as being born in Ireland. He was killed on 21 May 1940, aged 28, while his battalion were dug into the banks of the River Scarpe in northern France during the retreat to Dunkirk.
