A 10 bore Brown Bess flintlock musket, 55” overall, barrel 39” with London and military proofs and traces of “42 Regt” engraved at the breech, rounded lock with swan neck cock, the plate deeply impressed with crowned “GR” and “Tower”, walnut fullstock, the butt impressed with broad arrow and “WD” and “Barnett, Gunmakers, London” in oval; brass military style mounts and sling swivels; short steel ramrod.
