A good quality DB 14 bore percussion sporting gun by Henry Tatham Junior, number 1604, 46" overall, twist barrels 30" with platinum lines and vents at breech, the top rib engraved "Henry Tatham Jnr, 37 Charing Cross, London" (1834-1860); scroll engraved back action locks with flat dolphin head hammers, the plates also engraved "Hy Tatham Jnr" in scrolls, nicely figured walnut halfstock with chequered wrist and fore end; silver throat pipe and barrel wedge plates; engraved steel trigger guard and butt plate; WM tipped wooden ramrod with concealed worm. GWO & C (some age wear overall). Plate 16
