"The Henry Sylvester Stannard teapot: A Victorian silver teapot of bellied circular form, the body chased with floral swags, maker W.S, London 1859, 24 ozs * This teapot was presented by the Mayor of Bedford, Alderman Turner to Henry Sylvester Stannard, the well known local artist at a dinner held in his honour in 1950 (see inscription) "
