J Deacon, D Company, Lincolnshire Regiment including Sudan Expedition Egypt 1898 Book of Common Prayer; Soldiers Knapsack Bible from the South African Field Force 1899-1900 with khaki cloth binding; wooden Prisoner of War made rectangular box with sliding lid engraved "J Deacon maker J Viviers P.O.W. Sept.21.1901"; embroidered silk hankercheif "A present from Bloemfontem Orange River Colony"; gilt brass mantel clock with circular dial and attached bronzed figure of a Soldier from the Sudan campaign; pair of bronzed Spelter figures of "French & Joffre"; a small selection of newspaper extracts relating to Deacon, etc
