A rare Cornwall Home Guard Special Forces lapel badge worn by Auxiliary Units as part of Winston Churchill's Secret Army. The small enamelled shield-shaped badge bearing the numerals 202/1/3 is accompanied with the Second War Defence Medal and both issued to Sargeant Richard J Dingle of the Cornwall Home Guard together with copy paperwork and relating newspaper features. This Cornish Auxiliary Unit formed part of the secret British Resistance Organisation in the event of invasion by Germany during World War II
