An early 19c eight day longcase clock with 12"" square painted dial having florally painted corners and seconds and date rings. The dial centre has been re-painted and bears the spurius name Thomas Moore, Ipswich. It is contained in an oak case with swan neck pediments to the hood with a central ball and spire finial and the plain columns flanking the dial. The trunk has plain quartered columns and a long trunk door with wavy top and the base has an applied rectangular panel with indented corners and a wavy plinth, 85.5"" tall.
