A South Staffordshire enamel étui of oval shape with hinged lid, circa 1770, the main body decorated to each side with a harbour scene within yellow scroll framing against a pink white dotted ground, the lid with floral panels opening to reveal a fitted interior containing silver gilt implements, length approx 11.5cm (faults and restoration).
