Hand-coloured plates, numerous uncoloured illustrations, all after John Leech. (Some light spotting.) Near contemporary red half-morocco gilt, bound by Bayntun of Bath, the spines in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second and fourth, the others with different hunting motifs in gilt, t.e.g. – And another first edition by Surtees, bound to match (Plain or Ringlets. London: 1860. 8vo).
