A Napoleonic War related silver cased open-faced gentleman's pocket watch, the unsigned fusee movement with verge escapement, the enamelled dial painted with the battle of Arcola depicting Napoleon on horseback and his soldiers crossing the bridge, the centre with rolling automaton aperture displaying the advance, with cannons firing from the other side, and inscribed 'Bataille bei Arcola geivonnenson Bonaparte, d16ten Novbr, 1795', the silver case interior detailed 'CHPG' and '12738', dial diameter approx 5cm (faults).
