(2 VOL SET) NATIVE AMERICAN HISTORY - "Illustrations of the Manners, Customs and Condition of the North American Indian..." wIth three-hundred and sixty engravings from the author's original paintings, by George Catlin, tenth edition, London, Henry G. Bohn, 1866. Blindstamped red cloth binding with gilt title and decoration, portrait frontis and fold-out map in vol I, map frontis in vol II, simple line engravings throughout. 7" x 10 1/4", 264 & 265 pages. Both binding spines split into two pieces, soiled, foxing to first and last pages, otherwise contents are bright and clean, with minor edge soiling. A nice rebinding project.
