** A 40 BORE INDIAN PERCUSSION TRAVELLING PISTOL, MID-19TH CENTURY in the European taste, with two-stage barrel formed with a vase-shaped muzzle, encrusted with panels of gold foliage at the breech, median and muzzle, engraved tang, engraved box-lock action fitted with spurred hammer decorated with gold en suite with the barrel, flat-sided figured walnut butt, silver trigger-guard with moulded finial (retaining screw missing), and steel ramrod 16.5 cm; 6 1/2 in barrel
